Databases take many shapes and sizes, not to mention formats. We are experts at MS Access and MS SQL Server. Databases can be used as a back end storage for another application, or Access databases can have the user interface built right in. We can also write Crystal Reports to extract data from any type of database. Microsoft Excel is a fantastic product when one person needs to track a process, or store and sort information. But when more than one person needs to use that same information at the same time, it's time to move it into MS Access. If more than 10 people need to use that same information at the same time, Access starts to get a little sluggish and you might start to see some errors.
